Molex, LLC, a subsidiary of Koch Industries, Inc., has agreed to acquire Smiths Interconnect, a subsidiary of Smiths Group plc (LSE: SMN) and provider of electronic components, subsystems, microwave, and radio frequency products within commercial aerospace, defense, and other commercial markets. The transaction is valued at $1.7 billion.
StenTech, a portfolio company of Align Capital Partners, has acquired Advanced Metal Etching, Inc., a provider of chemical etching and laser cutting of thin metal parts within commercial aerospace, defense, and other commercial markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
