Michael Gilland is a Vice President at KippsDeSanto, directing strategic client advisory and investment banking transaction execution across aerospace, defense, government technology solutions and enterprise technology.

His experience includes advising founder-led businesses, privately held companies and financial sponsors on sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions (M&A), sponsor-backed platform expansions, corporate divestitures and private equity portfolio exits.

With over 10 years of investment banking and transaction advisory experience, Gilland has built his career at KippsDeSanto and as a Senior Manager with BDO’s Transaction Advisory practice in Washington, D.C. He earned an M.S. in accounting and a B.S. in accounting from The Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business.
