KippsDeSanto advises FTS International, LLC on its sale to Noblis, Inc.
MCLEAN, VA — KippsDeSanto is pleased to announce the sale of its client, FTS International, LLC (“FTS” or the “Company”) to Noblis, Inc. (“Noblis”).
FTS is a leading provider of mission engineering, intelligence analysis, systems integration, and operational support for U.S. federal intelligence, defense and space missions. For over two decades, FTS has supported key intelligence and national security programs, demonstrating deep overhead mission knowledge and highly specialized space-engineering talent. Powered through a culture of innovation, the Company has also developed an internal technology suite of customizable high-fidelity modeling and simulation technology, artificial intelligence tools, digital engineering and model-based systems engineering solutions that help advance national security and intelligence capabilities.
The acquisition underscores growing demand for assets serving intelligence customers with solutions that rapidly translate technological innovation into operational advantages, as mission timelines compress and threats converge across domains. The addition of FTS expands Noblis’ capabilities across intelligence, defense, and space while strengthening the organization’s ability to help federal agencies address increasingly complex mission challenges. The Company’s highly skilled workforce and long-standing customer relationships complement Noblis’ science and technology leadership, creating a stronger foundation for delivering integrated mission solutions.
The transaction highlights several key trends in the M&A market:
- Continued interest in capabilities and solutions serving key defense and intelligence missions within space-based domains;
- Selective capital deployment from strategic buyers towards assets that share complimentary capabilities, values, and culture while providing clear growth and synergy opportunities; and
- Persistent demand for assets with highly specialized, rarefied workforces and technology that competitors cannot easily replicate
